In week 3 of our Kahiau project, we faced a major setback in our planning of the project. Due to new administration which came with new rules, we are no longer allowed to fundraise/sell merchandise on campus. This declines our progress because we did chose to pick a topic located in Africa, meaning selling money was our main plan in order to help.
This week we used the leadership skill of problem solving. We will now need to come up with a way to donate our service that doesn't include money. A loophole that I found in the process is tasks that I can do at home to individually earn money and donate to Project #7106 that way instead of fundraising. This will tie in with my personal addition to this project because I am able to help from home that will make a difference in Syria.
